Coco the Love Dog is a special needs dog with diabetes, severe allergies, double cataracts --- and is just perfect! She has been a certified pet assisted therapy dog for 11 years and lives by example - showing the special children we work with how to live life with strength and joy and love.
Going to school and giving lots of hugs and kisses and spreading love and joy
As the children we visit have told me:
Coco doesn't have to DO anything - she just loves us - that's why she is the Love Dog
And as Coco is losing her sight, the children we visit at Lighthouse Internationsal who also have vision impairment or loss, tell me --- When Coco goes blind she will see us with her heart
