ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is offered only in the 50 United States and District of Columbia to dog-owning legal residents of the U.S., 18 years of age or older. If at the time of entry, you are under the age of majority (21 if a MS resident, 19 if an AL or NE resident) you must have permission of your parent or legal guardian to claim a prize or enter the second chance sweepstakes. Employees of Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and production agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor and Administrator's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the promotion. For a free game card, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope (VT residents may omit stamp) postmarked by December 24, 2009 to: Purina Dog Chow Scratch the Spot Instant Win Game Card Request, P.O. Total retail value of a First Prize: $361.50 Odds of winning: 1 in 150,000.

30 Second Prizes –The 101 Dalmatians Musical Original Cast Album/Recording; a "The 101 Dalmatians Musical" branded Hat and Dog Leash. Total retail value of a Second Prize: $43.00. Odds of winning: 1 in 50,000.

75 Third Prizes – The 101 Dalmatians Musical branded Hat and T-shirt. Total retail value of a Third Prize: $21.00. Odds of winning: 1 in 20,000.

Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $12,190.

The right to receive a prize is non-assignable and non-transferable, and no prize substitution, exchange or cash equivalent will be allowed except by the Sponsor who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion of prize) of equal or greater value in case of unavailability of prize or force majeur.

The overall odds of winning any prize instantly are 1 in 2,650. Prize claim directions are printed on all instant win game cards. The instant win game ends January 15, 2010. Claims postmarked after this date are void. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for damaged, late, lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, invalid or postage-due mail. All unclaimed instant win prizes will be awarded in a second chance sweepstakes as described below.

The stated value of the Grand Prize represents Sponsor's best good-faith determination. Actual value will depend upon point of travel origin, and will be used for tax reporting. Specified accommodations and activities are subject to availability at time of booking. Activities are subject to supplier terms and conditions. Winner and his/her travel companion are responsible for all expenses not specified including, but not limited to: gratuities, other food and beverages, other transportation, telephone and personal expenses, and applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Trip must include one adult, 21 years of age or older. If the winner is a minor in their state of residence, then his/her parent/legal guardian must accompany him/her as the travel companion. If the travel companion is a minor, then his/her parent/legal guardian must be the Grand Prize winner. Each winner and their travel companion must agree to travel to New York City on a date established by the Sponsor and must travel together on all legs of the flight. Travel restrictions may apply. Current performance dates for The 101 Dalmatians Musical in New York City are March 22, 2010 to April 11, 2010. These dates are subject to change; the performance schedule in effect at the time of travel scheduling will be used to determine the actual travel dates.

Second Chance Sweepstakes – Any prizes not claimed by January 15, 2010 will be awarded in a random drawing to be conducted on or around February 1, 2010. To enter the second chance sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"), print your name, complete mailing address, e-mail address and daytime phone number in the spaces provided on your non-winning game card and send it, postmarked by 1/15/2010 and received by 1/30/2010 to: Scratch the Spot Second Chance Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 8270, Westport, CT 06888. All entries become Sponsor's property and will not be returned. Winners of unclaimed prizes will be randomly selected by RMA from among all valid entries received. Drawing will take place in Norwalk, Connecticut. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of available prizes and eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by telephone, e-mail, or Express Mail on or before February 15, 2010. If a Sweepstakes winner notification letter is returned as undeliverable, or a Sweepstakes prize is forfeited under these Official Rules, a corresponding prize will be awarded to a randomly selected alternate winner. All decisions of the Administrator are final.

AFFIDAVITS AND RELEASES: Winners of prizes valued at $25 or more will be required to complete, sign, have notarized and return within seven (7) days of receipt an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release. The travel companion for the Grand Prize winner must also complete, sign, have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release. All potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor or Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the promotion. An individual is not a winner of any prize, even if the instant win game card should so indicate, unless and until eligibility has been verified and claimant has been notified that verification is complete.

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's first name, last initial, hometown, state, biographical information and likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion in all media without limitation or further compensation or consideration. If an individual cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to timely return a completed and fully executed Affidavit and Release as required, the prize will be forfeited. Winners under the age of majority must have parent or guardian sign and execute Affidavits and Releases. Failure to return Affidavits and Releases within specified time will result in forfeiture of prize.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Prize claims are subject to verification and are void if instant win game cards are forged, stolen, unissued, reproduced, mutilated, altered, illegible, not obtained through legitimate channels, or if they contain printing or other errors. Liability of Sponsor and its agencies for any defective instant win game card is limited to replacement with another randomly selected Purina® Dog Chow® Scratch the Spot instant win game card. No more than 566 instant win prizes will be awarded, as stated above under "Two Ways to Win: Instant Win Game". If through printing or packaging error more than the stated number of instant win game cards are printed, distributed and redeemed, the stated number of winners will be determined in a random drawing from among all eligible and verified prize claims postmarked by January 15, 2010. Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries shall have no liability in connection with the acceptance or use of the prizes awarded. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Sponsor and/or its agencies may prohibit you from participation in this instant win game and Sweepstakes if, at their sole discretion, you show a disregard for, or attempt to circumvent these Official Rules, or act: (a) in a manner that affects the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the instant win game and/or Sweepstakes in any way; (b) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other entrant or the Sponsor; or (c) in any other disruptive manner.

Sponsor assumes no responsibility for third party's failure to act in accordance with Sponsor's instructions pertaining to the implementation of the instant win game and/or Sweepstakes. By entering, participants agree: (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and RMA, which shall be final and binding, and (b) that the Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information associated with or utilized in the instant win game and/or Sweepstakes; (2) any design, typographical or other errors, omissions or deletions in any materials associated with the instant win game and/or Sweepstakes; (3) illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, late, lost, postage due, undelivered, or unprocessed claims or entries; (4) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor which may cause the instant win game and/or Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; or (5) any personal injury, damage, or loss of any kind caused by participation in this instant win game and/or Sweepstakes, or by the acceptance and/or use or misuse of any prize.

By claiming a prize or entering the Sweepstakes you give your consent for Sponsor to deliver your entry material and/or personal information to RMA and/or other administrators as required for the purpose of administering the promotion.
