To receive podcasts automatically, you need podcast subscription software such as Apple's iTunes (which has the software built in), Transistr, or services such as Odeo.

Do I need an iPod to watch or listen to podcasts?

No. You can watch or listen to podcasts on any device that plays mp3 or video files, including your computer.

Why don't video podcasts play on my PC?*

Purina video podcasts are in .mp4 format, which you can view using the QuickTime player, RealPlayer or iTunes - all of which are available at no charge. Windows Media Player does not recognize .mp4 video files. If you have trouble viewing Purina video podcasts, download one of these players and try again.
